The London Fashion Week buzz is all well and good if you're one of the fash pack and able to get access to the exhibition and shows. But what does a stylish girl do if she's not able to blag her way in? We decided this LFW that as well as bringing you the usual catwalk news we'd also cover all the stuff the rest of the press don't - how to enjoy fashion weeks away from the tents and even away from London. There are plenty of fashion and beauty events across the country this week, so don't feel left out if you're not in the capital...

Starting off, Selfridges are currently running their Street Style event, with catwalk shows from loads of their high street brands (think Warehouse, All Saints, Arrogant Cat and Kookai) in London and special events in stores across the UK. There are also DJ sets and a nationwide model search. If you're in London, be sure to stop by the Moet bar above the accessories department. It's a great place to people watch and the cocktails, though pricey, are delicious and have been created by fashion folks like Tracey Boyd, Julien MacDonald and Alice Temperley.

MAC Cosmetics are a London Fashion Week sponsor so they're currently treating the elite to tips, tricks and no doubt the odd freebie. However if you're up in Manchester you can also get some advice from the experts, as the 'Untamed' event comes to the Trafford Centre on Friday and Saturday.

Brummie babes should head to the Bullring centre for their dose of fashion and beauty fabulousness. Not only will the Selfridges model comp scouts be there this Friday, but the  L'Oreal Paris Colour Studio is in town to help you find the perfect hair colour. There's also a chance to win a makeover and a shopping trip worth £500 with a personal shopper around Selfridges.

Bluewater shopping centre are running various events where you can do anything from snagging freebie beauty products at Boots to, um, meeting Peter Andre. For full details, check their website.

...and don't forget there's always London Fashion Weekend for you shopaholics!
