Stop Staring! These dresses are all mine...

I honestly feel like I've been looking for Stop Staring my whole life.  I love 50s style clothes, and this website is just crammed full of them, from fabulous swing dresses to Audrey Hepburn style LBDs, and everything in between. I have, quite literally, just drooled over my keyboard at the very sight of them.

Paris Hilton is a big fan, but don't let that put you off. The store has also been featured in a slew of style magazines and is attracting praise from every quarter. For all that, it still has a low-key, "best kept secret" feel to it, which makes the clothes all the more special. Best of all, you can buy online. There goes my overdraft...

I actually bought a pair of insane black and green polka dot pyjamas from TK Maxx about 3 months ago, for under £10, made by that company, and had no idea they were so groovy until I just read your article. Thanks - just makes me adore my PJs even more now!

Heaven... I'm in heaven,
And my heart beats so that I can hardly speak.
And I seem to find the happiness I seek,
When I drool over Stop Staring pick of the week..

:D

Sorry.. but OMG. Drool. They're so beautiful that re-worked Astaire/Rogers lyrics were entirely appropriate ;)

The dresses are gorgeous and that Betty Page look-a-like is a nice touch. I didn't think I'd ever be so tempted to wear polka dots.

Hehe, love the song, Erin :)

They are divine, though, aren't they? Some of the ones I liked best aren't in stock at the moment, but I'm going to keep checking back. And BL - if they're stocking this line in TK's I am SO there!

Oooh Ooh Lovely - please post more links to wonderful quirky/retro sites like this. It's the loveliest thing I've seen on the web since kitschen synch
