It's said to be the most sought-after contract in British modelling, but, for reasons probably best kept to themselves, lingerie makers Ultimo have decided not to use a model at all for their next campaign. Instead, they're replacing the jaw-droppingly gorgeous Helena Christensen with, er, Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud. I promise I'm not making this up.
Sarah will be paid £100,000 to pose in her undies (well, their undies, really, although I'm assuming she'll get to keep them), which falls under the category of "nice work if you can get it". Past incumbents have included Penny Lancaster and Rachel Hunter, and Harding's appointment proves that you don't have to sleep with Rod Stewart to get ahead in the lingerie world. But it helps.
