One of the things I love most about there being so many trends this season is that you don't have to wear something if you don't want to, as there are plenty of other equally stylish options. Anyone with a pair of eyes and a bookmark to this site will know that my current motto is 'if in doubt, get it in dogtooth / houndstooth'. However, while in Oasis with a friend the other day, this grey dogtooth sweater dress got a much more lukewarm reception from her than it did from me. There I was trying to work out if I could justify buying yet another dress, picturing it with thick tights and a great pair of boots, while she just mumbled "hmm, I'm not convinced" and promptly changed the subject. Well, one woman's trash is another woman's treasure, and life would be boring if we were all alike.
