This collection must have been hard for Christopher Kane. He's surely the hottest new designer on the scene at the moment, and this, his debut show, has been being talked about and anticipated for months. I'd have collapsed into a pool of anxiety by now, and I'm older than him.

Somehow, though, I don't think all of those who've waited with baited breath to see what Kane would come up with will be disappointed. Personally, I think this was the most unique show we've seen so far - it was certainly the most colourful. As for wearable, well, maybe not so much. The entire collection consists of tight little  mini dresses in the kind of day-glow colours that put me in mind of the 80s. I don't think we'll be seeing people wearing these down the supermarket any time soon, but even so - wow.  Definitely one to watch - and I'm pleased to see he didn't forget the traditional LFW yellow dress either...
