Kelly Brook for New Look
She's failed as an actress and failed as a TV presenter, but fear not, there's still one avenue left open to model/actress/whatever Kelly Brook - fashion designing. Kelly has already designed a swimwear collection for New Look, and she must have done something right, because she's now been asked to design a lingerie line, to be launched this Autumn.
The 35-piece collection will include all the usual suspects: bras, thongs and baby doll nighties, in a mix of satin, lace and silk, and will be in stores from October 16th. Fair enough, but what is it with all of the "celebs designing for high street chains" that's going on recently? Is a famous face the only thing you need to be a fashion designer, or is Kelly Brook now a fashion icon and I just haven't noticed?

I actually love Kelly. I know I shouldn't, but she's so cute with her little fifties wardrobe...and her swimwear was actually very cute and surprisingly well made.
I wish they'd ask ME to design stuff for them though. I could do a great line un uber-sarcastic logo t-shirts and fabulous dresses.
