It seems that grey neutrals are here to stay, as Behnaz Sarafpour showed her twelfth collection at New York Fashion Week. It was retro-futuristic affair that recalled gamine 60's film star Jean Seberg. The young designer has received unwavering support from Vogue style mavens, putting her in the same league as new fashion ratpack Zac Posen and Proenza Schouler. Sarafnapour's unassuming designs were crisp, neat, and with preppy touches. I particularly like the cropped pants, the nouvelle vague way to wear skinny trousers with this season's cocoon tops -as seen on Kate Moss in countless issues of Grazia and Heat!
