Marc_jacobs_watch_1Just to extend on Charlotte's news from the other day, Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell and Dita Von Teese (OK, not strictly a supermodel, but who's counting?) are amongst a slew of celebs all queueing up to strip for designer Marc Jacobs - all in the name of charity, of course.

The celebritries, along with Julianne Moore and Selma Blair, will pose for photographer Brian Bowen Smith, with the portraits being auctioned off at Jacobs' after show party at next month's New York Fashion Week. Proceeds go to New York University School of Medicine's Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group, and so far the only person to turn down Mr. Jacobs' invitation is Hilary Swank, who is presumably washing her hair that night.

Jacobs also launches his new collection of watches at New York Fashion Week, with the timepieces apparently inspired by Marc's favourite models, which explains the skinny straps and subtle bling. The watches are made by Fossil, and will be sold at Marc Jacobs boutiques and selected department stores following their launch this Autumn.
