Miss Sixty and Ralph Lauren Open Hotels
Don't worry, you don't have to wear this attractive blue holey thing. You can sleep in it, eat in it and do all kinds of naughty things in it, though, for this is Miss Sixty's new hotel in Northern Italy. Nice, innit?
As you would expect from a hotel owned by a fashion label, Sixty Hotel is sexily stylish, with interiors created by 30 different artists and the overall design overseen by Studio 63, who are the people responsible for the interiors of the Miss Sixty boutiques.
One of the most interesting things about this hotel, though (and the reason I mention "naughty things") is that each room is fitted out with a web cam, so that guests can - cough- - get to know each other a little better. Personally the idea of a web cam in the bedroom scares the crap out of me, but, y'know, each to their own.
Although this four-star wonder is so far the only hotel owned by the label, they're apparently looking at other locations. They better get on with though, before Ralph Lauren pips them to the post - he's apparently about to give new meaning to the phrase "boutique hotel" with his own chain. (Hotel chain, that it. Not jewellery. Just thought I'd clarify...)
