How To Wear: 60s Fashion...even if you hate your legs!
The 60s inspired looks in the shops this season are all well and good if you're young and slim, but what happens if you don't have legs to rival Twiggy and still want to try the trend? If you can't bear to get your pins out (even in opaque tights) Then why not go for a forgiving smock top instead. Teaming it with non-60s loose but tailored trousers stops the outfit from looking like a costume, and allows you to go crazy with retro accessories. I adore the retro sunglasses I found on eBay (I've got them in white, though I haven't had the guts to wear them yet), while a pair of earrings from a fancy dress shop work out much cheaper than the same thing at a high street store, giving you a few more quid to spend on a gorgeous pair of dolly shoes!

Polka dot earrings £2 Party Pants, Mary Jane shoes £50 Topshop
The main issue with smock tops is that they're often associated with maternity wear. The look is big this season so being mistaken for an expectant mum shouldn't be too much of an issue, but you could always add a black patent belt if you're cautious of hiding your waist and creating a shapeless silhouette!
