Ethical Clothing 2: Edun
Yes I’m going all tree hugger on you today. Edun is another ethical range created by Bono and his wife in conjunction with US designer Rogan Gregory. Together they proposed, in typical Bono waffle fashion, to design a range that is ‘a marriage of social activism and aesthetic innovation’. Despite Bono originating from Ireland, the range is mainly available in the US, and to get it in the UK, you’ll have to hot foot it to Harvey Nicks, Selfridges or Matches. As for the the clothes, the mens’ range looks like something U2 would wear (and they did, on their last tour) but the new womens’ collection throws up a few gems (but again it doesn’t come cheap). There’s a sale on the remaining items from the spring collection at Nordstrom and Saks.
