Of all the stylish young Hollywood actresses, I think Jessica Alba is my favourite. She's avoided the temptation to become yet another Rachel Zoe-styled clone, and while she does frequent paparazzi photo-op shop Intuition and sports velour track pants and sunglasses so big they hide most of her face on odd off-duty occasions, when she makes an effort her style is a little more polished and grown-up than her rivals.
At the 19th Annual Kids Choice Awards Jessica teamed her trademark tailored jeans with a belted yellow blouse and a coach handbag. We've turned to a shop Jess frequents - Intuition - for jeans like hers, blue cult's high rise elite's for $200. Obviously, any tailored jean will do, you don't need to spend so much if you don't want to. Since yellow is a difficult colour to wear, our girlie blouse is green instead, but it has the same feminine details and high neck, at a bargain £25 from Topshop. Belt it at the waist like Jessica did with a grey belt from Miss Selfridge, also £25. Finally, you need your accessories. Give a bit of height with Charles David's espadrille wedges at $118.95, and top off the look with a Fiorelli straw and leather bag for £35. It's not quite Coach, but it's a tenth of the price!
