Pick Pockets
This spring pockets are the ultimate in slouchy cool. Forget the Liz Hurley pose, hand in pocket is the most up to date way to be photographed. Think Maggie Gyllenhaal’s laid back chic at the Oscars.
Miss Selfridge has stitched pockets into dresses, jumpers, shirts and even skirts. These two slouchy tops (£18 and £28) have pockets at the perfect height to stuff your hands in them. And the loose and laid back style is the perfect antidote to the tight straight-legged trousers they’d look great with. Refrain from stuffing anything else in them though, sticky-out pockets will ruin the line of any outfit.
Forget your uptight pencil skirts, add a pocket or two and a silky sheen and try one of these versatile offerings in silk from Topshop (left for £40) or satin from See by Chloe (right for £72). They'd be great for relaxed nights on the town, combined with shimmery metallic accessories, but I can see them looking just as good with a tan and some sparkly flip-flops on a hot summers evening.

Dresses haven't escaped the pocket treatment, and nor can you - Tomboys are catered for with military issue pockets at Miss Selfridge, whereas girlie girls can sweeten it up in babydoll check at Topshop. All for £35 apiece. To borrow from Oliver - You've got to pick a pocket or two. [Charlotte Howells]

I love side pockets! I want to put my hands in pockets that are not on my pants and those baggy sweatshirts really do not make me feel chic cool at all so these low side kinds are perfect.
I wanted the exact grey miss selfridge top but by the time i went back to buy it they pulled it off the racks from the outlets in Singapore! Tsk!
love your blog :)
