Designer POTW: 3.1 Philip Lim
According to the copy of Elle magazine that I read about six times while on holiday, Philip Lim is the current 'one to watch'. Of course, there are always about six or seven 'ones to watch' every month, but in this case I think I will keep my eye open. The items in the 3.1 Philip Lim range are easy to wear and simply cut - think crisp cotton blouses, diaphanous dresses and rolled hem shorts. My pick from the range is the ruffle camisole dress. While white might not be the easiest colour to wear, the gently ruffled and folded top and fitted pencil skirt give this dress the look of separates without the bother of having to drape and tuck everything right. Get it for $389 at Satine Boutique. I also loved the drop-waist brass studded dress, but so did everyone else. It's now sold out!

Ooo, I have also started noticing Philip Lim for a few months. Really like their stuff. Now if only I could afford it...
