Oscar Fashion Predictions: Michelle Williams
Michelle Williams' transformation from girl-next-door in Dawson’s Creek to bonafide film star is cemented by a) her performance in Brokeback Mountain b) her Oscar nomination for said performance and c) bagging a film star boyfriend in the process. A relative newcomer to the red carpet, she’s yet to make a big mistake. So far I love her choices (give or take a few pregnancy dresses). My favourite is the Yves Saint Laurent gown she wore to the Bafta’s (right) in elegant black with just enough detail to make it interesting. She consistently makes the most of her features (a teeny tiny waist and great chest) by choosing dresses with cinched in waistbands and respectably plunging necklines. Although it is difficult to find a picture of her that doesn’t have beau Heath Ledger in, how we love a celeb romance! For the Oscars I’d like to see her ditch Heath (at least for a few solo posing moments) and go with a bit of colour like she did at the Golden Globes. Other than that, if it’s not broken, why fix it? Gemma's designer predicitions: Michelle seems fairly devoted to the Parisian fashion houses, so it wouldn't surprise me to see her in Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent or Chanel on Sunday night. My pick for her, however, would be Valentino. Perhaps a more subtle use of this romantic print to set off her young, fresh-faced beauty? Or how about a night in white satin? Something unexpected, but fabulous!

You know, im still not convinced with Michelles ability to rock the Red Carpet.
Lets be honest, people are only paying attention to her now cause she's Heath(drop-dead gorgeous)Ledgers Baby mama.
She is cute but always looks so scared on the red-carpet, and is v.clingy to poor ol Heath.....I think she will always look OK cause she probably has some stylist to hook her up but somehow don't belive she is going to be like "out there!"
