Yellow has always been a risky colour to wear, and even the stars have trouble. Kate Bosworth proves you can look good in yellow, whereas Delta Goodrem doesn’t quite pull in off. Personally I’ve yet to take the plunge any further than a wimp-out lemony shade. But if you have the bottle to take on canary brights then there is plenty around to choose from this season.
Get some full on colour from Miss Selfridge with their yellow mac. Too much? To add a splash of sunshine try River Island’s bright yellow bag or Dorothy Perkins' yellow flats.
Yellow wimps like me can find add lemon to their wardrobe with this v neck draped top (£12) from Red Herring at Debenhams on the top half, or cropped trousers from Couture Candy ($119) for the bottom.
