12 Dresses of Christmas #11

Only one more dress after this one, and then I'm off to over-indulge for a few days! The 11th dress of Christmas doesn't come from any of the usual high street stores. I'm a big fan of fashion from the 1930s - 1960s (I was born in the wrong half of the century, I swear) and one of my favourite online resources for retro styles from the 40s and 50s is Pin Up Girl Clothing.

This 'Greta' dress is perfect for anyone who loves the retro screen siren look. Stretch satin is usually fairly unforgiving, but the gathered style of this wraparound dress means it conceals more than you'd expect. It's available in black, olive, red or turquoise and even comes in plus sizes. Want more? It has a built-in bra to flatter those curves...and they ship internationally!

Yeah! I can't get enough of the pinup look. The 1940s and 50s had some nice clothes and accessories! Luckily it's all coming back revamped!
