Three £100 outfits

Fancy a new look on a budget? Problem solved. Here are three looks for £100 or less (and that's including shoes). Whether you want something for shopping on a Saturday afternoon or pulling on a Saturday night, these looks are perfect for this time of year, and you'll still be able to buy a drink when you're done! And those of you in the US, never fear. I'll be doing the same next week on a $150 budget.

Beatnik Babe

Whether you're out shopping with the girls or going to see Goblet Of Fire with the boyfriend (it's a shame they're not Gryffindor coloured stripes, isn't it?) go for a bit of casual mod chic with this beatnik, 60s-inspired ensemble. Topshop's long sleeved tee (£20) is a bit different to the many striped sweaters, and looks great over a pair of skinny fit jeans like River Island's 5 pocket style (£34.99). Roll your jeans up a bit so Additions Marc Jacobs-esque strapped ankle boots (£29) show underneath, and add a bit of warmth with ASOS's striped scarf (£8). The whole outfit comes to £91.99, leaving you just enough to get a black eyeliner and some false eyelashes. Perfect!

Gold Rush

Got a big party or night out planned? You can't go wrong with a killer dress and co-ordinating accessories. ASOS's fab embroidered chiffon dress is an absolute steal at £28, and it doesn't really take much to finish it off. Slip your feet into a pair of sparkly shoes (I love Faith's 'lakeline' for £45) and slip on a gold bangle or two (filigree stretch bangle £8 from Topshop). Finally all you need is a cute little gold clutch (£5 from Additions Direct) that's big enough to hold cash, cards and that all-important lipgloss (Urban Decay shot-o-gloss in Mai Tai £8.50). Your outfit total? £94.50!

Hitchcock Heroine

If your look is more feminine and less glitzy, try combining a few of the hottest Winter trends in this chic ensemble. It'll give you a gorgeous shape and really define the waist. The pretty button-down blouse with tuxedo style detail is £19.99 from LX Direct. Tuck it into the gorgeous velvet fishtail skirt (£16) from (would you believe) George at Asda. I have the skirt in brown and it's much nicer in real life! Cinch in your waist with a gorgeous waspie-style belt (£14 at ASOS) and add a pair of classic black court shoes (Barratts 'Geology' £45) for a final ladylike touch. Your total? £94.98

Fabulous! A friend is holding a retro-themed Xmas party, and now I've found the perfect, cheap, pieces, I'm definitely going as a Hitchcock heroine (that skirt, that blouse..... *drool*). :) Thanks, CQ!
