Pink Ribbon Buys

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and loads of top retailers have got in on the act, flogging their fashions for a good cause. It's a great excuse to add some pink to your wardrobe (like we need an excuse) while doing some good for charity. Here's our favourite pink ribbon finds...

Pinkribbon1_1
The pink ribbons themselves: Glitter pin £1 and limited edition Julien MacDonald pin £5 both from Breast Cancer Care.   Shoe charm pin $2.99 available at Payless and pink ribbon pin £1 from Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Pinkribbon2_1
Add a touch of pink to your wardrobe with Burberry's pink pom pom scarf (£125 with 30% to Breakthrough Breast Cancer), Marks & Spencer's antique leather bowling bag (10% to Breakthrough Breast Cancer) and Warehouse's necklace (£10 with £2 min to Breakthrough Breast Cancer).

Asda supermarkets always do their best to help with their Tickled Pink campaign, selling loads of stuff with a pink ribbon theme and splitting the proceeds between charities. This years there's loads of great stuff in store, including this cute charm bracelet (£8) and fluffy trilby hat (£7).

Finally, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer foundation has joined up with loads of retailers to offer fashion with a hint of compassion. The Lily Pulitzer / Ford Motors Pink Ribbon is available through their site for $35, while eBags has got in on the act by generously donating 10% from the sale of any pink bag to the foundation - and that includes special pink ribbon items like this fab laptop case ($29.99).

Could you please tell me who I should send a copy of the new Altered States album, Designer Gene Pool, to.

We would very much like to play at Selfridges, we count Vivien Westwood as one of our fans.

    Thanks.

    Yig.
